The Consultation Experience
It’s so important to me that commissioning your bespoke wedding cake should be one of the most enjoyable parts of your wedding planning and I aim to make the experience as easy as possible, from the design stage right through to the set up of the cake on your wedding day.
Here’s how it works in 3 easy steps!
Step 1 - Check availability
Once you have your wedding date booked, simply complete my Contact Form and provide me with a few details about your wedding plans.
I will respond within 24 hours and if I am available I will provide further details including my recommendations on cake size and portions and a guide to my starting prices.
If I have availability for your date, it’s time for Step 2…
Step 2 - Eat some cake
Now for the best part!
Head on over to order a taster box, choosing four flavours from my menu, which will be posted to your door for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
Meanwhile, I will schedule a convenient time for a Zoom consultation with you, during which we will discuss your wedding plans, styling and most importantly, you and your preferred style so that I can start to formulate a cake design for you.
Step 3 - Approve your cake design and secure your date
Following our Zoom call, I will sketch up a digital design along with a quotation. The design can be amended until you’re completely happy with it and if you wish to proceed, a non-refundable deposit of £200, which will be deducted from the final cost, will secure your date and the balance will be due 8 weeks before your wedding day.
I will then be back in touch around 10 weeks before your wedding day to finalise all the details. I will make all the necessary arrangements with your venue/planner/florist as needed and you can rest assured that your cake will be delivered to your venue on the day of your wedding for you and your guests to enjoy!
